• Description: Associate Professor Jun Chen is mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in coastal power geomorphology, marine resources development and management, specifically including silty coastal sedimentology, coastal geomorphology power process, coastal engineering construction and resource environmental impact, marine development and utilization planning. She has rich practical experience in related fields. She has presided over dozens of scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China's youth program, “908” special sub-themes, national key research and development sub-themes, and the Ministry of Water Resources' public welfare industry scientific research special sub-themes, etc. She also took part in the Jiangsu Provincial Marine Functional Zoning, Jiangsu Coastal Beach Reclamation and Development Planning, and the “14th Five-Year Plan” for the Development of Marine Economy of Jiangsu Province. She has participated in a number of applied scientific researches, such as the Provincial Marine Functional Zone Planning of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Coastal Mudflat Reclamation Development Planning, “14th Five-Year Plan” Study on the Overall Idea of Developing Marine Economy of Jiangsu Province, and the demonstration of the use of the sea area, etc., and has accumulated a wealth of practical experience in the related fields.
