• Description: Prof. Feng Weibing has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research on near-shore hydrodynamic environment, design and planning of port and coastal buildings and their impact on the future marine environment, including physical modeling and numerical simulation studies on wave interaction with buildings, large-scale near-shore hydrodynamics and near-shore material migration and diffusion, with particular attainments in wave theory and engineering wave research. Prof. Feng Weibing has participated in important projects such as China's nuclear submarine base, aircraft carrier base, island reclamation in Nansha and conventional submarines in the East China Sea, etc. He has rich practical experience and scientific and educational achievements in the related fields, and has won the First Prize of Science and Technology of Provincial and Ministerial Levels of the China Association of Waterway Transportation and Construction, the Second Prize of Science and Technology Advancement of the All-Army, the Science and Technology Advancement Prize of 2004 of Fujian Province, the Baosteel Outstanding Teachers' Prize, and the Teaching Prize of Xu Zhilun.
