• Description: Associate Professor Lin Xiang has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research on near-shore hydrodynamic environment and marine spatial planning, including theoretical and numerical simulation research on typhoon waves and near-shore material migration and diffusion. Associate Professor Linxiang has presided over the projects of the National Natural Youth Foundation of China, such as “Nested Numerical Simulation of High Precision and High Resolution Typhoon Waves and Tidal Storm Surge Coupling from the Pearl River Estuary to the Yangtze River Estuary”, “Numerical Simulation of Waves and Tidal Sediment in the Submerged Dyke Area of Sheyang Marine Ecological Protection and Rehabilitation Project”, “Mathematical Simulation of the Motion of a Typical Newborn Sandbar of Paracels”, etc. He also took part in the project of “The Third Phase of Fujian Hongshan Cogeneration Plant, Phase III 1*1000MW Expansion Project”. *1000MW Unit Expansion Project in Fujian Shishi Hongshan Thermal Power Plant Phase III 1 *1000MW Unit Expansion Project Mathematical Modeling Tests of Waves, Sectional Physical Modeling Tests, and Overall Physical Modeling Tests of Waves“, ”Projections of Deep-Water Wave Elements in the Outer Harbor of Yulin“, and ”Preliminary Analysis and Calculation of Waves in the Plant Site of Prickly Tail and Cheung Yeung", and he has rich practical experience in the related fields.
